Photo Roundup: Family Time in SF

Breaking news: I got a new camera! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

And it arrived just in time for the San Francisco portion of last week’s visit from my sister (Lashaan), her son (Eliot) and baby daddy (Don).

The picture above was the first one ever taken on my new camera, starring two of my favorite people. 🙂

We started off doing touristy things around Pier 39.

We ended up at the Aquarium of the Bay. Eliot appreciated the endless array of things to point at. He really likes to point.

We stopped short of partaking in the touristyness below, but Alcatraz is definitely on my Bay bucket list.

We escaped the flood of tourists to the Mission District.

Lunch was at Taqueria La Cumbre, which was… less than impressive. From what I saw on yelp afterward, it seems that after they were featured on Man v. Food, things went sharply downhill. Not surprising. At least the decor was cool? And Eliot seemed to enjoy his horchata.

The eating continued at Fillmore Bakeshop. Good things happen on the other side of that window. Really good things.

Dinner was at Thai Idea. Super delicious, all-veggie food.
